Spring has sprung at the Holiday Home Store!

Hello everyone!

With Christmas and New Years over, we turn our attention to 2012. We will have a lot of new ornaments and gift items to offer this year.

Spring is upon us and in the North East and the weather has been very strange. They're forcasting some snow for the area and it is late April! We had been unusually warm in February and March.

We received a large amount of our Old World Christmas ornaments in February and we have begun the process to list them. We will have over 800 styles when we are done! We picked lots of old favorites and many of the new 2012 styles. This year we have two 2012 dated ornaments by OWC. One is a Santa style and the other has a couple of Bluejays. Each is very nice!

In March we attended a local Home & Garden show in Pittsburgh. Many of our gardening tools had sold out and we are just now getting them back in. Our collapsible watertight buckets sold out and will be coming back in around mid May. We have ordered the new Navy color with a zippered lid. The production of this style has been highly anticipated. It is expected in May as well.

Flags and spinners have started to fly off the shelf in Spring and also Summer styles. I guess because we have such good weather here in Pennsylvania now. Consider refreshing your flag with a new style or having several to switch out. It always feels good to put up a new flag!

2010 Back to School Ornaments from Old World Christmas

New for Fall 2010!

I'm so excited to go through the boxes we just got in here at the store!  We have hundreds of new items for Fall, including Fall Flags from Premier and Bethany Lowe Halloween Decor.  These items are available in our brick-and-mortar store right now, and should be listed on-line over the next couple of weeks.  If you have a specific Bethany Lowe Thanksgiving item or Halloween Spinner from Premier that you are hunting for, shoot us an e-mail or give us a phone call and we'd be happy to help.

We're also very busy preparing for football season, as Steelers training camp at St.Vincent College is right up the street from the store.  We always have a great selection of licensed Steelers items on hand for locals and spectators, but are happy to ship to Pittsburgh Steelers fans around the world.

Hello!  Thank you for visiting our blog!  There isn't much here now, but there are some exciting things going on at the store right now and this is where we'll be keeping everyone up to date. 

This fall we'll be debuting our brand new website just in time for Halloween.  You can get a sneak peek now by visiting us at http://www.holiday-home-store.com/.  Currently it is simply a mirror of our Ebay Store, but after the dust settles it will be so much more.  If you're prefer not to purchase an item through Ebay the new site is functional and secure and can take orders as we speak...it just won't reach it's full potential for a few weeks.

In the mean time, feel free to drop by the shop in Latrobe.  We're always getting new and exciting things that sometimes sell before we have a chance to put them on-line.
